About This Bundle
Children carry real things: anxiety, grief, big feelings, family stress, hard experiences, but they often cannot name what they carry the way adults can. This bundle exists to help the trusted adults in their lives (counsellors, play therapists, pastors, parents, school support staff) gather a picture of what is going on, in language and formats children can actually engage with.
The bundle has two parts. First, three forms for parents to complete gathering developmental history, behavioural observations from home, and family context. These are the kind of forms experienced therapists ask for at intake. Second, three age-banded self-assessment tools for the child themselves: a picture-based tool for younger children (ages 5–9), a mixed picture-and-words tool for tweens (ages 10–12), and a text-based tool for teens (ages 13–17). Each is designed to invite, not interrogate. These tools are not diagnostic instruments. They are conversation-starters and information-gatherers.
Their job is to help a trusted adult begin to see what a child cannot yet say.
