The Redemptive Gifts are found in Romans 12v6-8. We all have these gifts to a measure but we will be more dominant in two of them. The gifts also have areas of weakness that we need to work on so that we can be strengthened in those areas.
Arthur Burk (Sapphire Leadership Group) first introduced the concept of the Redemptive Gifts as portions of our spirit. For more on this, you can view our other resources or visit his YouTube page for more videos. There are also other teachings available on YouTube regarding this.
Prophet: The Prophet is marked by a deep sense of justice and a desire for authenticity. They have a keen insight into truth and are often catalysts for change, challenging systems and ideologies that they perceive as unjust or dishonest.
Servant: Servants are characterised by their selflessness and desire to meet the practical needs of others. They excel in serving behind the scenes and find fulfillment in acts of kindness and compassion. Their humility and servant-heartedness are their defining traits.
Teacher: Teachers have a natural inclination towards knowledge and understanding. They are passionate about sharing wisdom and insights with others, often serving as mentors or guides. Their gift lies in simplifying complex concepts and making knowledge accessible to all.
Exhorter: Exhorters are gifted communicators and motivators. They have a knack for inspiring and encouraging others, often through words of affirmation and encouragement. They excel in building relationships and creating a sense of unity and belonging.
Giver: Givers are known for their generosity and abundance mentality. They derive joy from giving and sharing resources with others, whether it be time, money, or talent. They excel in creating environments of abundance and fostering a spirit of generosity within communities.
Ruler: Rulers possess strong leadership qualities and a natural ability to govern and organise. They thrive in positions of authority and responsibility, often taking charge in challenging situations. Their gift lies in providing structure and direction, guiding others towards a common goal.
Mercy: Mercies are characterised by their empathy and compassion towards others. They have a deep sensitivity to the emotions and needs of those around them, often serving as sources of comfort and support. They excel in providing emotional healing and creating safe spaces for vulnerability.
Each Redemptive Gift brings a unique perspective and set of strengths to the table, contributing to the richness and diversity of the human experience.
