As parents, it can be challenging to navigate the different stages in our children's lives. Thankfully, with media and everything available online now, it is much easier to find the right information.

I would like to share some links to helpful websites and some books that might be helpful as you navigate parenting. I know it is not easy, and there is no cookie-cutter method for children, but we need to know that there is help.

If there were one thing I would like you to keep in mind as parents, it is that it is important to know God's design for your child and to nurture them in the way God designed them. We cannot force our design on our children, and we have to take into account that our children all have different love languages, so they will respond differently to love or discipline in the same way. We are all wired uniquely. So take the time to get to know your child, get to know their design and most importantly, pray for them, bless them daily from the Word of God and pray into their design and how you can partner with the Lord in raising your child.

The first step in all this is to foster secure attachment with your children. Having that early emotional bond with your child is so important for their future security and for their future relationships. You can visit our PDF resources for more on attachment.

Here are some resources you can browse online. There are many more available!

These are some books to get you started. Most of these are on my bookshelf. However, with all the books available and guidance from others, there is no excuse to stay ignorant or to struggle with parenting. Most importantly, we have our Father in heaven, who will be our best guide in what resources to use and who is the example of the best parent ever!
