What Are You Trading Into?

We give all honour and glory to God for this day that He has made. We thank Him for His grace and mercy and for each day being a new day!!!
Guess what, I just started my day with a trade! By confessing God's word and the trust that I have in His word, I made a godly and spiritual trade. By sharing this post with you, I traded into my Kingdom destiny.
The Holy Spirit has been speaking to me a lot about trading. Trading in the spiritual is much like trading in the natural. We make a good trade, and we make some good money; we make a bad trade, and we lose some money.
We can also trade up and trade down depending on our thought processes and behaviour.
Everything in life is a trade. We see in the Word so many divine exchanges that are actually trades. We choose life and blessing; we reject death, cursing and evil - trade. God gives us beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning and the garments of praise for the spirit of heaviness. Do you see it now?
In ministry, we often deal with generational transferrences due to the iniquities of our ancestors. They made an ungodly trade that caused us to come under the provisions of that trade. We need to then renounce and cancel it and put it under the blood; we take back what was traded away. The blood of Jesus now is the trade for our sins through the cross.
Let's make it practical. Think about every decision you make, every choice and every action you take. You need to ask yourself - am I making a good trade? When you choose to spend time with God you are making an eternal trade. If you choose to trade that time for Netflix or some other pastime, you are not trading into the Kingdom. It is okay to make trades for taking time out to relax, watch a wholesome program or series. But if it takes up hours and hours of your time that could be spent more productively - this is an ungodly trade.
What do you spend your money on? Is it a good trade - does it hold eternal value or fall in line with godly principles? What do you think about? Are you constantly agreeing with lies of the enemy or do you counteract those thoughts with the truth of God's word? If you trade into negativity - you will receive the fruit of that trade. If you trade into faith - you will receive the fruit of faith. If you gossip and have conflict with others - you are making an ungodly trade. I think you get the picture.
Let us remember that whatever we trade into that does not bring life, brings death. So the next time you want to think something or do something - ask yourself "Is this a good trade - what will the outcome be?". Choose life and choose blessing!! Don't squander what Jesus traded for you - you have new life in Him. He traded places with you - keep trading into the Kingdom.
Be blessed today!
